Five editable candidate slots

Select names independently. The five slots are a convenient scratchpad size, not a claimed MAke Drama team-size limit.

How to use the Make Drama MAD team builder

This free team builder is a personal shortlist, not an official formation editor. Select up to five distinct characters you want to investigate. Five is only the number of scratchpad slots in this interface: the current game client, not this website, determines actual team sizes and placement rules. The side panel counts the public roles and positions of names you selected; it does not calculate damage, healing, synergy or the likelihood of winning a stage.

Step 1: Select candidates by the question you want to answer

Open each candidate slot and choose a character from the October 2026 reference roster. If you are comparing survivability, consider the publicly recorded Tank labels. If you need to review a damage-oriented role, look at DPS labels; Supporter is a separate published category. These are descriptive tags. They do not tell you whether a character fits your equipment, progression or current game update. You may leave any slot empty while you investigate your options.

Step 2: Read your role and position coverage

The coverage panel totals how many selected records carry each role: DPS, Tank or Supporter. It also reports how many are labelled Front, Middle or Back in the historical source. A count of one in each role can help you notice the variety of your draft, but it does not prove the game accepts that arrangement, that their skills cooperate or that their stats are sufficient. If a label seems wrong, check the live game before investing any resources.

Step 3: Test alternatives without losing your shortlist

Swap one candidate at a time to see how the descriptive counts change. Duplicate names are deliberately prevented within the same five-slot list. Your selections stay only in your browser local storage and remain there when you revisit or reload this page. Use Clear all to start another draft. Copy shortlist puts the selected character names and public role, position and element labels on your clipboard for personal notes; it does not publish a team or submit any information to a server.

An example character shortlist, not a recommended lineup

The following three records illustrate different public labels, but they have not been tested as a specific formation and should not be treated as a suggested team:

  • Ines — Supporter, Passion, Back position. These are historical public labels, not a recommended team.
  • Victoria — DPS, Will, Middle position. These are historical public labels, not a recommended team.
  • Jennie — Tank, Will, Front position. These are historical public labels, not a recommended team.

Use the Make Drama MAD character comparison tool when you want to place two records side by side, or visit the 48-character roster matrix to find names by role, element, position and faction before drafting. The sources and limitations explain why community tier grades may be dated and why this planner avoids claiming to know combat results. The separate editorial Make Drama Wiki has character guides for readers who need more context than the labels displayed here.

Important: These are planning and reference utilities. Tier letters are community opinion, not official rankings. Slots do not represent a confirmed game formation size.
